ARIZONA RAIN

After narrowly escaping a terrifying act of gun violence, Crissy drives for thirteen hours and arrives unannounced at her ex-girlfriend Marcy’s doorstep. Searching for a way to comfort Crissy as she grapples with the fear of what might have remained unsaid, Marcy suggests a game: “Call everyone who has ever wronged you and tell them what you really think about them.” The play follows the pair as they attempt to tie up loose ends by calling ghosts from their past, ultimately working towards understanding their own complicated, love-filled relationship.

DINOSAURS

Claire comes home one day to an unexpected guest: A real-life dinosaur rummaging through her apartment. After retracing her steps, Claire and her best friend Hayden conclude the dinosaur is a strange manifestation of unresolved trauma Claire carries from a sexual assault she endured in her early teens. They determine the only way to send the dinosaur back in time is for Claire to find closure. For fear that the very fabric of space and time could collapse at any moment, their quick solution is to confront her abuser, and somehow, what they discover in the process is even more unexpected than a spontaneously appearing dinosaur.
